Just so you know... If youre friends with me here on Facebook, regardless from where we know one another - musicmakers, classmates at Berklee, friends and chosen family in Austin, compatriots in Boston and New England, from my days in transformational workshops and mens work, my early years here in Banning, or from my travels throughout the US and the world, I have an assumption about you: That you desire to live in a world where violent oppression, poverty and hunger, disease and addiction, and emotional and spiritual hopelessness and despair are the exception, not the rule, and you desire to be a part of creating that world. I assume this is true regardless how cynical you may have decided to be, to protect your heart from the pain of defeated hopes. I assume this is true regardless how you may or may not have treated me in the past, or how you have treated others in the past. I assume this is true because this is who I am, and I am a reflection of you. Perhaps you believe this assumption about you is incorrect. Im ok with you believing that, because I know that eventually you will remember. Just so you know.
