Just some interesting observations about the following 4 HSOV dogs available for adoption: First Photo - Archie - got Archie out for the first time yesterday - hes energetic but can also settle down - loves to play ball - in fact he reminds me of former shelter dog, Mel Gibson. He never takes his eyes off the ball. Hes so much fun. If youre looking for fun, Archie is the dog for you. Second Photo - Jane - Jane is not interested in the ball in the least - after shes had a chance for a bathroom break, she immediately begins running as fast as she can in the play area. She will then settle down - enough to perform commands - if you firmly say sit and shake. But theres even more to Jane......shes very deep and devoted. If youre looking for obedient and devoted, Jane is the dog for you. Third Photo - Zack - Zack seems like hes just happy to be alive. He has no expectations - when he sees you while in his kennel, hell be excited but he patiently waits. He takes his bathroom break while on the walk, and once he gets a breath of fresh air, he gets this burst of joy - he loves to be near you. He pays no attention to the ball - his main joy is you. Fourth Photo - Rosie - Rosie shares a kennel with another dog - so if you come to the shelter to see her, dont miss spending time with her alone - she is something to see. The first time I saw Rosie, she was out in the play area with a worker - obeying every command. It was amazing! I visualize this dog giving her life for her master - shes that devoted. Stop by the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley and check out these wonderful dogs.
