Just spent some time dealing with the unscriptural ideas of Rey - TopicsExpress

Just spent some time dealing with the unscriptural ideas of Rey Hallili Rey Halili Dungca on the subject of the soul of man and of Hell. Presented for your approval are my thoughts on the matter. “A SIMPLE COMPARISON OF SCRIPTURES WILL TELL YOU WHAT HELL IS! FIRST LET US SEE FOR OURSELVES PASSAGES THAT SAYS SOUL WENT TO HELL: Psalm 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Psalm 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. Psalm 86:13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. Proverbs 5:5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Proverbs 23:14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. Isaiah 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Ezekiel 31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth. NOW LET US SEE HOW THE KJB DEFINES FOR US WHAT IS HELL IN THESE PASSAGES: Job 33:22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. Psalm 30:3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Psalm 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. Psalm 88:3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. Psalm 89:48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah. NOTICE HOW THE WORD HELL WAS INTERCHANGE TO GRAVE WHERE THE SOUL IS! THESE KJB PASSAGES ARE TELLING US WHAT HELL IS AND CLEARLY THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO GUIDES US IN ALL TRUTH TESTIFIES THAT HELL IS GRAVE, PIT.” (Taken from a FB post by Rey Hallili Dungca.) Rey Dungca is asserting that the King James Bible teaches that since the Soul is a reference to the entire person (not one part of a three part nature) then when the “soul” dies it goes to the grave, which he asserts is actually Hell. That the word “soul” sometimes signifies the whole person is clear in the Bible. Gen. 2:7, “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Notice it does not say he “received” a soul. It says he “became” a soul. Many verses in the Old Testament show a close affinity of the flesh to the soul, to the point that they are spoken of interchangeably. Yet there are also verses like Gen. 35:18, “And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died ) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.” This begs the question, “How does the soul depart if it is one with the body?” Obviously, the soul could not depart if it was the same thing. And Rey, in his doctrine, is careful to assert that the soul both dies and sleeps in the dust. Then there is Matt. 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” In dealing with this verse, somehow Rey Dungca concluded that it says that the body and soul are the same, hence the body and soul wind up in the same place: Hell, which he defines as the grave. But actually the verse shows the DISTINCT DIFFERENCE between soul and body. It says that men can “kill the body” by cannot “kill the soul.” If the soul was simply the designation for the ENTIRE PERSON, then when you killed one you would kill the other. Then we must consider Acts 2:31, “He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.” Once again the scriptures “rightly divide” the flesh from the soul. Note the word “neither.” It signifies two separate parts there. Soul in hell, flesh facing corruption. I Thess. 5:23, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Again, spirit, soul and body are presented as separate items. Now what is the conclusion? At times, the soul is spoken of as the whole man to the point that it is indistinguishable from the body. (See Dr. Peter Ruckmans correct explanation of the circumcision not made with hands) Hence Adam “became” a living soul instead of receiving a soul. Yet, upon death we see that as in the case of Rachel, the soul departs while the body remains. Men can kill our body while our soul continues to live (theres one for Rey). Is this a contradiction? Nope. Both are true. The soul is representative of the entire person AND it is one part of three parts of the Human makeup. This is observable in nature in many ways. The sun gives off heat, light and ultra violet rays. An egg is shell, white and yoke, each part is as much “egg” as the other yet the three together are also called “egg.” In this vein you have the Lord in paradise on the day of his crucifixion yet laying in the tomb at the same time. Look at Ezekiel 10:1-15 for an example of this truth. In this context Ezekiel saw the “cherubims” which is plural for “cherub.” (see vs. 10) The cherubims are amazing and wonderful creatures to behold. So each creature with four wings, hands like a man and four faces is a CHERUB. Yet we are told that ONE of those faces is the face of a cherub. Well, these cherubs have FOUR faces. But if you do just a little comparison you will find that a cherub is an OX. See Eze. 1:10 and Eze. 10:14 where the faces are the same except for the face of an OX is replaced with the face of a CHERUB. We know the cherubims are the same as the living creatures in Eze. 1 because Eze. 10:15 says so. Now, my point is, the CHERUB which is this intricate and wonderful creature is also a possessor of the face of what? A CHERUB! So, what is a cherub? Is it the complete living creature of Eze. 1 and 10, or is it an ox? Answer: it is both. So it is with the soul of man. Is the soul a single part of the human three fold nature? Or is it representative of the complete makeup of man? It is both. At creation God breathed into mans nostrils and man “became” a living soul. Theres the complete Cherub. But God divided the constitution of man into three parts to be made in his own image and man how consists of body, soul and spirit. That is the Cherub which is a part of the Cherub. So make no nistake about it, neither let some shyster (who takes verses he doesnt understand from the Old Testament to deny clear verses in both the Old and New Testaments) tell you that at death you go to the grave and sleep until the resurrection, and that if you die unsaved you just go to the grave instead of Hell FIRE. Hes a liar if he does.
