Just spent the evening at dinner with Bob Jimenez and Manuel Gallegus in LA the cousins who both worked at KRON-TV. Bob was a mentor to his cousin and is so proud of all that Manuel accomplished at CBS news. Bob and Sharon Jimenez started a TV show called LA Business Today in 2008 when the economy tanked and accomplished 100 episodes winning best TV Talk show on a government sponsored channel in the USA and Canada. Bob and I loved the KRON-TV days and all of you that were a part of one great family in San Francisco 1981 - 1991. Bob is now Director of Government Affairs for the California Board of Equalization making sure the state continues to run and business grows in the state his family pioneered over 100 years ago. Great to see this FB page. Our show is online and on demand at lacityview.org and was carried on KLCS PBS Southern California broadcast into 16 million homes. Many great stories were talked about tonight in LA as Bob and Manuel both spoke of how KRON-TV was a great place to work.
