Just spent two days sharing information about terrorism and recounting 9/11 to three classes of 9th Grade history students. How amazing to realize they were one or two years old and never experienced it but after hearing and seeing images from it, they were able to somewhat understand the grief, the anger, and the resolve of the American people in response. I am proud of them for understanding their role in the future of keeping our nation strong and hopefully free from invasions by those who exhibit hate and disrespect. Our future should be improved if these young people continue on their current path of trying to make this a better country.
