Just spoke to shaykh abu zaid zameer (whom some have the audacity to call as brother abu zaid may allah save us from defecations) about his video on boycotting AFTER ABU HANEEFA OMAIR tagged me in it . SHARE THIS AND MAY ALLAH GIVE ONE MONTH LONG LOOSE MOTIONS TO THE MADKHALI WHO TWISTS MY POST AND FALSELY ATTRIBUTES THINGS TO ME OR THE SHAYKH TAKING MY NAME. ALLAHUMMA AMEEN I explained first the usual things which ive explained to other scholars while asking them i.e the loss israel is facing, how world wide everyone is boycotting them and how israel is panicking so much so that even in Mumbai and other asian countries boycott is on a rise . Then i told him the views of the 4 madhahib and ibn battal and ibn al-Qayyim in `Ilam and elsewhere also narrated shaykh al albaanees fatwa permitting boycotting taking names of bulgaria etc and of sh waseeullah abbas and some other scholars like shaykh noorul hasan madani and others whom i got the affirmation from. then i asked shaykh in the light of these evidences, can a Muslim abstain from israeli products if his ruler or country isnt prohibiting him from it? The shaykh hafidhahullah clarified 1. i gave dalaail in that video of mine both for and also against boycotting meaning those who want to personally abstain they can but what i was against is to make boycott (tahreem) wajib upon the ummah. this they cannot do. only the ruler or ulema can do this. No layman or no muslim youth division party can make such and such product haraam upon such and such district or country or the ummah . shaykh also clarified that by boycott he takes boycott to mean as tahreem and not merely abstain 2. he also said in the presence of the evidences you informed, yes if someone wants to follow that perspective it is ok and he may abstain from israeli products 3. he also made a distinction between encouraging brothers to abstain from such and such product and ENFORCE them to abstain 4. then he said sh saleh al-fawzans fatwa .. and i said shaykh e mohtarah allahi barik feek, the questioner twisted the question and sh saleh al fawzan hafidhahullah answered in a general way. No one told him the details as i told you in the beginning of the conversation and they didnt do this either on purpose or they were ignorant and yet wanted to apply the answer of a wrong question on the whole ummah. 5. then the shaykh said ok and he gave the example of chinese prosecuting muslims. I said sh chinese are communist they do it with everyone not only Muslims. I Also said yes there are countries partial to Muslims for e.g UK but yet they give many rights to Muslims whereas someone like israhell doesnt give anything. It is pure evil and cannot be compared with China . 6. Then the shaykh again clarified his point no. 1 mentioned above and said laymen or even tullabul ilm should not pass fataawa issuing verdicts on boycotting or making such and such haraam. only ulema or rulers can. 7. i said shaykh some of the brothers among madaakhila and others (e.g Abu Haneefah Omair) are using your video to claim or imply somehow that boycotting is not from the sunnah or its not allowed and we SHOULD NOT do it. the shaykh said thats their mistake not mine. I gave the dalaail both FOR and AGAINST and explained both scenarios. 8. then the shaykh said in abu dawood the sahaba used to deal with the mushrikeen with swords. I replied shaykh allahi barik feek, that was not during war or when mushrikeen were amidst prosecuting muslims. thats a whole diff scenario than israel now. Also there is a hadeeth of the prophet (s.a.w) forbidding selling arms during times of fitan amidst Muslims then what about dealing with israel? And the shaykh agreed. he said yes the scenarios are different. I said exactly sh the fatwa of sh fawzan was like this. general permission to deal with jews and christians. we arent boycotting jews or christians we are boycotting one specific target i.e zionists / israel faqat (Only) the shaykh again clarified his point no. 1 to which i absolutely agree yes i did use the word MADKHALI
