Theres a bunch of posts going around expressing outrage that Facebook did a study analyzing how FB affects mood. (pnas.org/content/111/24/8788.full) Two points: 1) It was computer analysis. Those of us that build computer systems understand that the data analysis could have been skewed in any direction based on the parameters they were searching for. 2) Rather than being outraged that FB did this experiment, I would have hoped people would be more outraged that they are (supposedly (see first comment)) so susceptible to Social Media.
