Just spoke with a club official, as memberships are today now for sale, or roll-over memberships are still acquirable, if the maximum bays worth of memberships at AAMI Park (3) or Etihad Stadium (7) are purchased subject to capacity in the North End; thats how big the terrace will be. The same applies for the South End (3 at AAMI, 6 at Etihad) otherwise the unfilled areas will be tweaked once the club realizes how many members want to be in the South or North End, most likely changed to GA. Eg: If 2 bay of seats are bought at Etihad, the rest would be 5 bays of GA, if 7 bays are bought thered be no GA in the North End. Drums, flags & tifos have still not been addressed by club officials. Memberships will be sent out in September/October. So basically as of today, if you want to be in the North Terrace, sign up - otherwise, get a mate in the NT with a membership to get you a guest pass as the FFA have announced such measures. As this is against the philosophy of the NTCs organic growth, the NT should be announcing where negotiations are at via their official facebook page: North Terrace Melbourne, the South End via MVFC South End. Lets hope for a unity between club, fans & ultimately players. But sometimes, its not that simple. But at the end of the day - its why we all go, to have a sense of belonging & sing as one for the boys in blue. If the WSW players sing Who do we sing for? to the RBB - Why cant our boys sing Horto Magiko back to the super 3 bay North End. Organic growth is the answer, but there will always be politics. #COYBIB (Danny)
