Just started watching The Hunger Games for five minutes until I realized that Mad Max+American Idol is less likely to happen than Rise of the Planet of the Apes. This story is so far removed from any possible interpretation of social collapse that I simply couldnt bear to watch it. The performances and the action are COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT, this story of post apocalyptic society and its laws is so PROFOUNDLY RIDICULOUS that I simply could not tolerate it... It is like the entire story and mythology are based off of Quiet Riots music video The Wild and The young- unbearable nonsense!
