Just stopped into shaws to buy some snacks and water to get us by until payday. Had. $25 gift card that we got about a year ago and never used. Bill came to $23. Scanned the card and it showed up with a zero balance even though I have never used it. So we gave everything back to the cashier and walked off...but we were stopped by the woman behind us paying for our snacks. Kind people do still exist in the world. Oh, and did I mention that before we walke in I had three screaming children I was trying to wrestle into the cart when a woman leaving offered them each a cookie she had just bought to make my way easier. Sometimes we need a reminder that humanity is still good and thriving. And sometimes we see the evidence.
