Just thinking......The Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, our High - TopicsExpress

Just thinking......The Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, our High Priest knows us by our name. Today we have pastors who are called to oversee Gods flock, and their responsibility is to feed, nurture, and equip Gods flock in the truth. They are not to do the ministry work for filthy lucre, nor are they to be worshiped, but to willingly in love give their time to those who are in need of guidance in the truth. But what happens when a new convert gets saved, and then after two years they feel that they are not getting feed, or they feel they are not getting the attention from their pastor as they think they deserve? So they decide to leave the church in hopes of finding another church. They say, Im not getting equipped, Im not getting attention, Im not getting the love from my pastor as I got in the beginning. etc........Excuse me, but the pastor is there to guide us into the truth, he is not above anyone else in the church, he is a brother in Christ, a sinner like everyone, under the same grace, but has a greater responsibility because he speaks for God. But some pastors think they have the only anointing.....which is error. Everyone who receives Christ receives the anointing of Christ, thats the gift, Yes, we all have the anointing. We are to pray for Spiritual gifts to help and build one another up in the faith, for we are all Christ hands, feet, voice, and Christ is the head, we are the body. Jesus Christ is our savior, our High Priest, He is the one who shed His blood for our sins, and today we all can come up into the throne of God, and receive Gods grace of love, forgiveness, new birth, all we have to do is ask, surrender our Will, and receive His perfection in faith. Jesus said, 7Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. John 16:7-11 Gods very Word tells us to trust, and believe in Him, to believe in His Son. I said to my friend the other day, why are you still tangled up in your past life, dont you know that you have been given the anointing, now believe you have received it, or at least stop the whining, and bickering, with this I infection....God is among you, His High Priest, the Good Shepherd is with you 24/7, call on His name and you will be saved. Thank you God for the anointing of your love and goodness in Christ Jesus. I Love you my friends, stay awake in the truth of who you are in Christ, Amen. Shalom, Lory
