Just thinking out loud: what if a military man emerges and lines - TopicsExpress

Just thinking out loud: what if a military man emerges and lines up all the vampires who are bleeding the nation white, tie them up on a stake and execute them all by firing squad? Would that solve the problem? Absolutely no! Why? Because, at it is now, a thousand vampires would quickly rise in their place and ensure that the looting continues unabated. In fact, in this country, a thousand thieves may be privileged to be having a field day, but in truth, 20 million are in the background cursing their stars for not being in the shoes of the lucky thieves, actually more than a 100 million are really crying for their turn, for our unborn children are probably begging their mothers to let them out quickly, so they could join the looting fray. Dont doubt me. When Nkrumah said seek ye first the political kingdom... years ago, and when Ghanaians began the looting several decades ago, many of the new generation of thieves were not even in their mothers wombs yet, but their turn has now come sooner than enough. And make no mistake, 5 decades from now, our unborn children too would be having their turn, bleeding this our beloved nation white. But then would I cry for those executed? Absolutely not. Though the retributions would not have solved the problems, they would still serve the criminals right. If theres a new movement crying let the blood flow, I would not be among be the proponents of such cry, but I would shed no tears for the criminals that would fall victim to such cries either, for retribution is a natural phenomenon, and would surface one way or the other somehow. Should a new party be given the chance then, apart from the two major parties? Absolutely! But we must ensure that members of that party are not Ghanaians. If you doubt me, ask Agudey what Im talking about. What does June 4 and Rawlings bring to mind? A mirror of the current situation. Is June 4 justified then? It served the criminals right, but it could never solve the problem. When 20 million people plus hundreds of millions of unborn children are all crying in the background to be given their share, a revolution of guns would kill a guilty few, but cannot never shut the door on the millions of willing thieves. A 100 politicians or military men cannot never keep hundreds of millions of thieves at bay forever. A different kind of revolution is thus needed, and it is not a revolution of guns, but a revolution of hearts. A revolution of hearts is what Ghana needs. Who is willing to join the crusade?
