Just to be clear, the vendors that did the Wanham Plowing Match Tradeshow for me, that knew I was doing this, will, as promised, have first opportunity to be present at the ladies day event on the August 23/24 weekend. This is not a regular shopping-vending-selling experience. This will have a definite give back feel to it. To honor women, mothers, sisters, caregivers etc. If you are here to just to sell, this may not be the event for you. I cannot even begin to speculate how you will do. As Ive never done THIS before. I will advertise as best as I can, and network like a freak! But I make no promises. :) I hope you all make thousands :) you may make nothing..... The last years PINK Affair was extremely heartwarming and beautiful. Focused on giving. Servicing. Indulging. Beauty. Love and hope. YES. I want you to make money! I, like you am an entrepreneur, But the purpose behind this all is to honor. Give. Show kindness and generosity to the majority that provide the caregiving. Which is women. Im not discounting men. God knows they do their share of giving and caregiving. I will find some things for them too. I will stand there for 24 hours a day doing hair and makeup to help anyone look and feel better about themselves or to see them smile. I will do this for free. I dont expect anyone else to do the same, but I hope you can find a way to honor or give back. That is the purpose of this womens day/s. To give up something precious to help someone else. Give up your time, energy, product, maybe money..... As caregiving requires this. If youve ever helped someone on a daily basis with cancer or any other illness you know what Im talking about. You know what it takes. Everyone involved in this fundraising weekend is doing just that. Giving something up to be there. The musicians, truck pullers, food booth people, Those providing entertainment for others to enjoy. Services to help another. Some will be paid. Most will not. If you think that this is something you want to be a part of, Im honored to have you. 💗 Volunteering is a selfless act with no benefit other that what joy it brings to the sole individual giving if themselves. You must do it for the right reasons. The knowing that in any small way, you made a difference in the life of someone. Even just one. Thats good enough for me. :)
