Just to clear a few things up about this Saturday nights event... It has been told to us that a lot of people in this community do not want us to have this event and think it is going to be a disaster... Well #1 we are sorry if any of you feel this way...unfortunately this bar has a long standing bad reputation...however we purchased the bar back in December and are doing nothing but great things...we have a safe, fun place for people in this community and outside of this community to come to and we have gotten great support from the local community members that do come in and they always say this place should be packed...great food, great service...and so on...we wish we received a lot more local support and we understand that NOT having family dining is upsetting for a lot of you...however please be aware that is not our doing that is state guidelines, we had excise come in and check the building to see if we could offer family dining back when we first bought it and we were told that is not an option unless we permanently block the wall up between the cafe and the rest of the building and put in bathrooms in the cafe...well that wont work for us because the dining area in the cafe is to small for bathrooms and then we wouldnt be able to serve food over in the bar and by law we have to do that also so our hands our tied as far as that goes and we are sorry...but this is why we do events like the one coming up on Saturday...now as far as Saturday goes...this is NOT a drunkfest...we have 2 bands that are very great bands from Greencastle one is a blues band and one plays very calm great music the played at Greencastles street fest they did a few months ago...yes we will have a beer trailer with German beer, we have a designated area that you must be 21 to enter and will be carded and given a bracelet, we are making a ton of German food that you all can purchase as well, we have very nice vendors coming, this is also the grand opening for 2 businesses downtown, they both are starting at noon, (so please come out and support them), we have a place for people to dance and we have plenty of seating...we also have 15 employees working this event as well as the owners so that we can take care of everyone and monitor everything going on...we NEVER serve minors and this will be no different and if anyone acts inappropriate they will be escorted out!! We are trying to do a fun event that you can bring your family to and have a great time and we really hope a lot of you come and see what you have been missing!!!!!!! And for those of you who dont want us to do this event i hope you come and at least give us a chance to show you it is a good thing we are doing and join in the fun!!!! Hope this clears up a few things...however we know seeing is believing some come out Saturday night and see for yourselves what a great event we can do!!!!!
