Just to encourage your hearts this morning 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV) “God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.” I know it’s important to take care of your physical being, especially when others rely on you to be there for them. Life is but a vapor and we don’t know when time will end for us. So try to get plenty of rest, eat right and exercise regularly. But even more important is the time you spend with God in prayer. Prayer is the key to your total well-being. It keeps you focused on what is important – God and your own spirituality. As you develop and maintain your relationship with God, you are nourished and sustained in spirit, mind and body. There is no feeling quite like the one you experience when you know you are cared for and loved by God. You can share this feeling with others by holding them in prayer and knowing that God is with them every step of their way. We sing a song in the church that says: “You can’t beat God’s giving no matter how you try; the more you give the more He’ll give back to you…” As you are blessed today remember those that are less fortunate then yourself. Even if you can’t offer something monetary, the best gift anyone can receive is the love of Jesus Christ, “Silver and gold have I not, but such that I have I give unto thee”. Be blessed and may you always know that God is pouring out into you so you can share it with someone else.
