Just want to say how PROUD I am of my DAD!!! On Saturday I went with him to a dinner and ceremony honoring Seacoast Korean War Veterans, at the Greenland Methodist Church. It was put on by the Church and the Koren Society of NH to thank all vets from The Korean War. It was beautiful evening and there were about 15 vets there. Dad is very proud to have served, and I cannot begin to say how proud I am of him and everyone who served or are still serving today. Saturday was the 60th anniversary of the signing of the armistice to end the Korean Conflict. It was given very little ink in the news, but to those who were there, and to those who were effected by it, mostly the folks of South Korea, and the people who served it is still with them every day. It was an honor to sit with these men and listen to the stories and memories. Thanks to All, and most especially to My Dad!!!!
