Just want to say thank you to Dr. Mark E. Murphy ~~he performed a procedure today on a family member and as always, he is so awesome! As a Nurse Practitioner it is our job to promote health~ so to all my friends ~ please tell your family and friends to have regular screening tests to find precancerous polyps so they can be removed before they turn into cancer! Colorectal cancer often can be prevented. Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in USA! It does not have to be.. Many of these deaths happened because the cancers were found too late to be cured! So screening helps find colorectal cancer at an early stage , when treatment often leads to a cure~~ thank you Dr Murphy!
