Just wanted to comment on the recent passing of a dear man and an absolute giant in the Central Kentucky music world, Dr. Gale Price. I was so fortunate to have him as a junior high music teacher and a high school chorus teacher. He also recruited me for brass ensembles to accompany the choir at his church in Winchester. He could sing anything, arrange anything, and teach anything to do with music - and he ALWAYS made it fun. Gale directed this piece for the 2013 Winchester Chorale Christmas concert and it was simply phenomenal. This video is not of the Chorale - it is an all-male group - but youll get the point. The point is: Christmas is a joyful, prayerful, beautiful time of year. And music makes it all the more wonderful.
