Just wanted to give you an idea of what my pack looks like after exercise and food. They go into a resting mode. Also, wanted to show what it should be like when you approach your dog or pack of dogs. Mandi is really good at communicating how submissive she is. Take note of her ears back, squinty eyes, lip licking, diverting her eye contact and also rolling over. Now mind you, I didnt say anything to them, just approached them. They are all doing their place command too. In the house, they know this is the only spot they are allowed to be. I do not allow them to roam my house. I control their environment, therefore making a calmer dog in my house. Now you may be wondering, when do dogs get to be dogs? Well they are being dogs. Just calm and relaxed ones. People have a tendency to think that when dogs are not crazy hyper that something is wrong. Not true! A calm K9 is a happy K9. Excited behavior is outside behavior only! Happy training friends!!
