Just wanted to say congratulations to the Sam Houston Baseball team and the summer league season they had. The finished either 7-4 or 8-4 and in the process beat some playoff teams. This is the first year in a long time that they were able to field a summer league team thanks in a big part to the guys from the Alumni teams that helped raise money to field a team! My brother, Charles Rangel did an awesome job coaching these young men and the baseball coach is extremely grateful to the Alumni and Charles! We can make a difference. I went to their last game last night and some of the plays they made looked OLD SCHOOL!! They also had some clutch hitting before they pulled away for a 7-2 win! The players looked happy and excited cuz they had some rough seasons and it was good to see them gel! The coach is looking to field a fall league and hopefully the Alumni can help out there. Lastly we need to get the Administration to support these guys. Thanks again!
