Just wanted to share some highlights from #FutureBike . Thanks to your support and enthusiasm for the Black Girls Do Bike movement, I was invited to speak at this un-conference on Thursday Sept 11th. Future Bike promised to discuss how to involve and be led by new and previously overlooked stakeholders — and how to integrate those perspectives to redefine and grow the bike movement. It did not disappoint. BGDB showed up! There was a lot of curiosity about what we are creating here. There were many diverse voices in room and the honesty was flowing freely. It was truly refreshing and I left with a renewed confidence in the prospect of world where cycling is completely inclusive and diverse.
