Just wanted to share: when I started dancing it was in the grass dance category and old style was something I could do fairly decent. Then after 7 yrs I moved into my chicken category and there were only about 10 of us regulars dancing and often there want a category to dance in. Thanks to those who stuck it out and made it popular, chicken dance is recognized all over and young people are picking it up. Ive been dancing chicken for the past 19 yrs! Today I danced in an old style grass special and came in 2nd behind my long time idol and relative Jonathon Windyboy! then in the chicken dance I didnt get picked lol, but some young lady came over and gave me 4 smokes and said my dancing made her feel good inside because shes been feeling down.
