Just wanted to update you on the latest on my journey. I had a 3-D mammogram done this morning. I was waiting in the dressing room for the nurse to check the film to make sure that everything came out ok before I got dressed. she came in the room and asked me to come with her and she put me in a private room and said that the doctor wanted to talk to me. well immediately I start freaking out thinking oh God they found something else in there. I didnt know what to think and the doctor walked in the room with a big smile on his face and touched my shoulder and told me There is nothing in there! Even the lymph node that tested positive has shrunk back down to its original size! Just confirmation for me that the cancer is all gone. I still have to have the surgery and I will have to do the six weeks of radiation, 5 days a week. I have to see the surgeon again next week to go over the mammogram results. Will keep you all posted! God is good and does hear our prayers. Thank you everyone for all your prayers and positive thoughts!
