Just watche HER. Sure, it was sweet, well shot, layered and had lots to say about modern isolation and etc, etc etc. I could not stop thinking to myself Holy cow that is a large apartment in a modern expensive city. That office environment is pretty sweet, too. Sure, I figured the size and emptiness of his apartment was meant to visually communicate his isolation, but still. Have anyone tried finding an apartment is SF lately? He better be making Sergey Brin money to live in place like that. Unless some catastrophe has happened in this hypothetical future and real estate somehow magically became dirt cheap, I kept wondering throughout the movie, as he lied alone in his bedroom with a gorgeous sky view, what the lives of the people who cant afford to live ALONE, in giant gorgeous mansions are like. If this future is anything like our present, being completely isolated and alone and worrying so deeply about ones existential place in the world is probably not high on the list of worries for anyone living under the glass mansions. Also, I am completely not sold on talking as the future interface of choice. Too slow.
