Just watched all 12 episodes of Kids on the Slope by Shinichirō Watanabe and music by Yoko Kanno (both of Cowboy Bebop) in one sitting. One of the most profoundly moving animes i have ever seen. I was utterly stunned. If the concept of a magnificently paced coming of age drama set in 1960s Tokyo featuring a rich jazz soundtrack and heavily influenced by Haruki Murakami sounds remotely of interest then i urge you to watch this at the nearest opportunity.
