Just watched the first 3 seasons of Falling Skies. Steven Spielbergs marks are all over it. As a story of a man and his three sons surviving the loss of their mother and the post-apocalyptic following invasion by aliens who wipe out 90% of the world it takes the first two series to begin to set the scene. In the third season it really begins to work even though most of the story line, events and characters are straight out previous series like War of the Worlds and even Babylon 5 (Skitters are not so far of the Shadows). Season 4 is schedule for a summer release.
