Just went for food distribution to the homeless in Penang... there was one particular moment which really really gets into my heart deep. I saw one mother siting on some concrete holding on to a sleeping child with another one sleeping on a piece of cloth on the street floor. They look in poor state and definitely need shower. The mother was particularly grateful when we gave only rice, biscuit and plain water. It sets me thinking how fortunate we are to have our family with us, shelter, food, water, clean bed, pillow, blanket, proper chair, table, etc. We have so much with dignity but yet we always complain about not having enough. What is your mission in life? What actions you have taken as an individual? These are the ringing questions I have after tonights exercise... I hope to do more in the future.
