Just went into a games shop to trade in a pile of PS3 games that I dont play anymore. Person behind the desk was unhelpful and rude and said it was lunch time so they didnt have time to scan the games. But the shops open and full of customers and the massive sign next to your head says WE TRADE GAMES!. Yeah you can buy something but I dont want to trade them because its lunch time and it takes too long. But you DO trade games and the shop is open? Yes of course we do but I wanna go to lunch. At this stage there was a line of people behind me and I asked again that the person behind the counter simply do their job and scan the games and give me the exact amount so I could get rid of the games (the reason for going into the shop in the first place) and then go on my merry way. Reluctantly he scanned and checked each game as slowly as possible. At the end he says well give you $32 credit but can you hurry up because its lunch time. This worked out to be something like $2.50 per game so at this point I took my pile of games back, turned around to the rest of the waiting customers and extended my arms and said Free Games!! The line of customers dumped whatever overpriced second hand games they were holding, mobbed me like a herd of drunken zombies, grabbed a couple of games each and headed out the door without buying a thing. Last thing I saw as I walked out empty handed was an angry as hell manager making a bee line for the counter to find out WTF just happened and where all his customers had gone. No doubt the guy behind the counter got a good roasting, which he probably needed. It was lunch time after all…
