Just went to the doctor with Colton and he has croup. No medicine was prescribed and were basically supposed to wait it out. Im not one to want to medicate my kid but hes been sitting in one spot on the couch for hours, fever, shaking cold and doesnt want to eat. Why do we have to wait for it to get worse to treat it instead of treating to prevent it from getting worse?! I wasnt even given advice as to anything to help him. What are my other mommy friends experiences with croup? Im so frustrated!!
