Just when I was about to lay it down...I see this video. I cannot stomach this violence. The senseless killing. This is the battle we face daily. It does NOT have to be a relative for it to be felt. They shot this man in cold blood. Why? The gun and badge does not give you murdering privilege or pardon. Listen...This is about to be uglier than ever. Our lives are not valued the same. We have to face the facts. Its deeply disheartening but it is the absolute truth. If we are not awakened by the numbers and fast...we will continue to play our part in this entrapment. Never have I ever been so afraid for so many lives. From one part of this to the next. If you do not have children yet...Please see the silver lining in it. As a mother to a seed...I am in it for the long haul. We must educate more on what our children need to understand outside of the classroom. My heart aches for humanity as a whole. How many lives will be claimed by the of this month? Year? You can share this or not but I will say this...they got me thinking even more on what is necessary. No matter what, the truth cannot be guaranteed to be shared, shown, or learned.
