Justin and I reached 1,000 miles and then I called it quits! The trip was tougher for me than I originally thought it would be. Justin supported me 100% and decided to leave the ride too. Instead of going straight home we decided to continue our trip by car. We camped at the Grand Canyon, saw the Hoover dam, ate a lot at the buffets in Vegas and of course played the penny slot machines! It has been a great vacation traveling across America by bike and by car! Looking back on our decision we see that God had his hand in it. We find ourselves closer to one another and that was what we wanted to happen, but its hard to do that with having to put 10 hours of riding in everyday! Justin will do some more bike touring later this summer with a friend, and as for me I feel like hitting the streets and going for a Run!!!!!
