"...Once I came to a conclusion that I was not lucky, I started - TopicsExpress

"...Once I came to a conclusion that I was not lucky, I started feeding my mind with the kind of luck I wanted in life. That gave me the drive and courage to invest myself in major areas. The first step was to seek extreme information and knowledge in my chosen field. The next thing was to make friends and cultivate relationships that would help me in my journey. Important as it is, being brilliant and highly learned alone was not enough to attract luck and unfortunate as it may seem, having a thin resume or little education was not an excuse but cultivating a relationship was the most important thing. I also made sure that with every manifestation of luck, small or big, I gave thanks to The Almighty God and the person who contributed it because I was convinced beyond doubt that it is th goodness and mercy of the LORD that was made manifest in the person who contributed to my luck. When someone gave me fare to town or a few hundred shillings or some few coins enough for Dondo or R & B (rice and beans), i rejoiced and gave thanks like s/he had been given a million. In conclusion, my friends, I have come to learn to give thanks and be appreciative of whatever I have in my hands while working for the better, if necessary; I’ve come to learn that I need to be grateful but not contained. If I’m not grateful for the small manifestation of luck and little miracles that comes my way, then I’ll be greatly reducing my chances of having bigger manifestations."
