Justins Daily Newsletter 29/11/13 A needle was left inside a patient at Derriford Hospital and in another case a feeding tube was misplaced. An investigation has been launched at the hospital and tonight on Spotlight well have more reaction and hear from the Medical Director of the Plymouth Hospitals Trust. You may be surprised to discover that around a hundred drivers are on the roads of Devon and Cornwall have 12 points or more on their licence. In fact DVLA says one person has been allowed to continue driving with 20 points on their licence. On Spotlight later well be looking at the reasons why so many people have been allowed to carry on driving despite so many points. Parking charges are going to be cut at various sites across Cornwall. The Council is trying out the idea for three months and its hoped it will help traders in the run up to Christmas and into the New Year. One of the towns to benefit will be Launceston. Well be live there tonight. While efforts are underway to improve trade in some towns in Cornwall well report from one high street in Dorset which seems to be thriving. In fact Bridport is in the running to be named the best high street along with Sherborne. And apparently its a bumper year for Christmas Trees.
