KAJAIA WINS FIRST LEGEND RACE Davit Kajaia had a strong opening at Nürburgring: “It was very hard. Niki Meredith and Frederik Nymark were very fast. In the last lap I was able to overtake them. My team worked very well to prepare the car and I hope the next race will be good too.” Newcomer for the ACCELERATION Legend Supercup Frederik Nymark (DEN) finished second place: “It was the first time for me to be on such a big track and these Legends are really fast. It was a really fun race. I hope to be able to get into the top 3 in the second race as well, but the guys are really quick.” Irish Niki Meredith made a mistake during the race, but was still able to reach the podium: “I am a little bit disappointed, I think I definitely had the pace. It was just a matter of waiting, because I saw that Kajaia had a problem with his front bumper, so I didn’t want to get in front of him and get stuck. So I watched the time go down and waited for the last lap. Unfortunately I made a stupid brake mistake and got into third place.” #ACC14
