KAKAMPI MO ANG BATAS.SYNDICATED, ENGLISH. 13 JUNE 2014 Injustice, favoritism, in pork raps LIFE’S INSPIRATIONS: “…But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers…” (James 2:9, the Holy Bible). -ooo- “REPEATING A LIE TOO OFTEN…”: President Aquino and his minions must have become so desperate in their campaign to deny that politics was behind the pork barrel plunder charges against opposition senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, and Ramon Revilla Jr. that they are now using the classic Nazi and communist tactic of “repeating a lie often enough to make it look like it is the truth”. Undeniably, Aquino and his handlers are now shamelessly taking advantage of every opportunity, like the 116th anniversary celebrations of Philippine independence last June 12, 2014, to say, again and again, that there was no politics in the filing of the P10 billion pork cases before the Sandiganbayan, even if the allies of President Aquino were scandalously and glaringly left out of those cases. But the problem for Aquino and his yellow crowd is that every Filipino who is in his right mind couldn’t agree one bit with them anymore. In fact, the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, and many other groups now openly disagree with him, and say that politics really motivated the charges against the three, since Aquino’s allies who were shown to have committed the same act of pork plunder were spared from the cases. -ooo- FOOLING THE FILIPINO NATION: Now, let’s see. Why are Aquino and his propaganda spin doctors insisting to subvert the clear truth about their motivations in the plunder case? Either they think that Filipinos are stupid enough to believe everything they say, simply because it is Aquino saying it, or because they believe that Filipinos have no capacity to think for themselves. Either way, this is an insult to the Filipino nation. The fact that top-ranking Catholic priests and the best lawyers from the country’s biggest bar association are contradicting Aquino on the issue of only opposition senators having been sued before the Sandiganbayan shows the prevailing thought from a cross section of Philippine society. Indeed, Filipinos can no longer be fooled, even if it is Aquino talking. Filipinos already has the capacity to know the truth on almost every issue, what with the advance in computer technology and Internet access in the country. Everybody in this country has come to realize that despite his propaganda, Aquino and his government did not really do anything substantial for the benefit of our people. -ooo- INJUSTICE, FAVORITISM, IN PORK BARREL RAPS: Clearly, there is no justice in the filing of the plunder cases only against Enrile, Estrada and Revilla. Indeed, how can the Aquino government claim that the plunder cases were in pursuit of justice when they employed favoritism and used a double standard in filing those cases---one for the President’s allies and another for the opposition? What Aquino and his minions at the Department of Justice and at the Office of the Ombudsman did here even constituted a flagrant violation of the Bible, particularly its injunction that we should not play favorites on anything that we do, as enshrined in many of its verses: Exodus 23:3, Leviticus 19:15, Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11, Galatians 2:6, Ephesians 6:9, Colossians 3:25, 1 Timothy 5:21, James 2:1 and 9. In fact, playing favorites constitutes perversion of justice which would bring judgment and penalty to the guilty, as Amos 5, Deuteronomy 28, 1 John 2:4, and Revelation 21:8 of the Bible warned. I believe that the fires of hell are even now raring to burn down all those who have desecrated justice in the pork barrel case, unless they repent and go back to God. -ooo- REMINDERS: Please tune in: “Tambalang Batas at Somintac sa DZEC”, at 1062 kHz on the AM band, Mondays to Fridays, at 6 a.m., simulcast, real time, over eaglenews.ph; “Kakampi Mo Ang Batas sa Radyo Trabungko FM”, at 103.7 mHz in Don Carlos, Bukidnon, Mondays to Fridays, at 7 a.m.; and “Kakampi Mo Ang Batas sa DYKA” at 801 kHz on the AM band (Panay Island), Mondays to Fridays, at 10 a.m.
