shewwww weeee where do I begin, what an emotional roller coaster today. we came in for one surgery and ended up doing an another surgery. chloe today has been diagnosed with MAPCAS. I am sure most dont know what that is because it is very very rare and she is the 11th case that is reported in the US. Chloe today was on the verge of having a heart attack and it would have been masive according to her surgeon. They were forced to repair the MAPCAS which meant she had blood that was going into her lungs. The surgeon here has never done that repair and was forced to call a fellow Dr due to the fact that he was shaking and sweating too bad to continue. WOW!! that has never happened to us. the dr that came in has never done that repair either. Both Drs were concerned with a heart attack today. it took 7 hours to repair 1 little section. Chloe is now placed on 2 blood thinners due to the fact that her blood has to remain very thin. we met the Drs Twice today and decided another surgery is a must in 5 weeks. 5 stents will be attempted with a valve replace ment. long with balloon dialation of all arteries and vessels. Dr said we have a lot of work to do but is repaired to do what it takes. She will continue to be at risk for heart attack but only mini ones. hopefully when they work on her RV and lower the pressures that it will help. Pray for my sweet Chloe
