Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong…” (1 Corinthians 1:26-27, the Holy Bible). -ooo- PARTICIPATING IN THE WORK OF GOD: For each and every person who is baptized into the “Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo” (Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church, the only reason why they have been called to become its members is for them to rise from their former status as uncaring believers, so that they could participate in the work of God before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, which also signals the end of time. This work must have to be carried out before this Second Coming and before the end of time, as Jesus Himself said in Matthew 24:14, in the following manner: “… this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come’…” What is the work of God that must be carried out before Jesus comes again and before the end of the world will come? It is preaching the Gospel to all the nations. Preaching the Gospel, or the Word of God, the Bible, is actually one of the three components of the so-called “Great Commission” which Jesus handed down to His disciples, and which is now enshrined in Matthew 28:19-20 of the Bible. -ooo- EMPOWERING EVEN THE LOWLY TO PREACH THE WORD: This is the reason why each and every member of the “Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo” (Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church are trained to read the Bible everyday, meditate on its verses day and night, and obey everything that is written in it. The objective is to empower the member, who is called “Kadugo” (or Blood Kin of the Christ), to stand up and preach the Word, no matter how lowly his personal status in life maybe. And with the grace of God, that is exactly what is happening now among the Church’s members: young and old, men and women, rich or poor, are now standing up and boldly preaching the Word, particularly the truth that Jesus Christ is God and Savior, as the Bible in its many verses teaches and proclaims unequivocably. We attribute this capacity to bravely preach the Word, even by members who have had no formal training in the Bible, or who did not attain any formal education at all, or pursued only the basics in elementary schooling, or who have lived marginalized and insignificant lives all throughout, to the power of God manifesting itself through the ability of the once-Biblically ignorant “Kadugos” to effectively proclaim the Word. -ooo- PARTNERS IN THE WORK OF GOD: God is showing He definitely recognizes this rather ambitious endeavor of the “Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo” (Children of God Blood Kin of the Christ) Church to make its members full preachers. At this point, the Church has been graciously allowed to partner with the Holy Spirit Preparatory Academy of Bgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City, to teach the Bible to its elementary and high school students. The owners of the school, Mr. and Mrs. Domingo and Julita Canero and their children Rhoie, Arnel, Derek, Gary and Cristeta, have even agreed to open their school to a Bible Academy the Church is pursuing to establish, to provide informal instruction to Christians who would someday desire to become preachers, too. Indeed, God is now in a hurry to fulfill His work of proclaiming the Word as a means to save souls. The leaders and members of the Anak ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo Church are greatly thankful to God, in the name of Jesus, that they have been clearly called to participate in that work.
