KEEP ON KEEPING ON Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint”. (NKJV) This scripture affirms that along the course of our lives strength can actually wane at some point, otherwise there would not be any need to have it renewed. The life we live here on earth has a lot of trials and temptations which can sap the strength out of any believer. Lack of anything (like joy, peace, companionship, money…), loss of anything or anyone, rejection of any kind; these, coupled with the temptation of seemingly beautiful and valuable but deceitful things of this world can take their toll on any believer. However those who patiently tarry and obediently wait upon God, looking to Him and trusting Him in all situations will renew their strength. The scripture speaks of them being able to do two quite strenuous and vigorous activities running and walking, as well as soaring to great heights. This means, patiently trusting and relying on God allows the release of the most dynamic supernatural power that enables one to keep going forward victoriously no matter how strenuous or vigorous the challenges come. Child of God wait upon God! Wait upon Him!
