KEEP YOUR STRANGE DOCTRINES TO YOURSELF: Why do some people consider that it is ONLY through baptism that we receive the Holy Spirit? That somehow we fall short of really being saved without baptism? I was filled with, he came to indwell me at the MOMENT I first believed.. My Baptism was done in obedience (and not too soon afterwards) Our baptisims are merely an outward demonstration of our FAITH..I CHOSE to be baptized in obedience to the example Christ Jesus demonstrated to us..Why do some say it is a must? And that we will NOT have the Holy Spirit with out being baptized? Why must I get what I ALREADY have??? Pray tell me, why must some complicate the way of Salvation? When Jesus clearly mapped it out in John 3:16? Ya know, AA has a saying I always liked keep it simple stupid I think this subject calls for using this advice as well..Charismatics New evangelisms ya floor me with your way of confounding & confusing the Scriptures, causing the new converts to jump through your doctrinal hoops, your strings attached ideas of the salvation plan that the Bible (God & Jesus laid out so plainly & Crystal Clear).. Explain to me please, how the thief on the cross next to Jesus was promised paradise?. According to your doctrines he wouldnt have been..Why he had no time or opportunity to come down from that cross to get baptized & receive the Holy Spirit and live an exempliary life-therefore his quest for salvation would have fallen short according to what you spew out..No, he received salvation by a simple heartfelt BELIEF in Jesus!!! Yes I am angry, I get that way each time ya rear that ugly head to admonish me on the proper way to be saved..You are LIARS, and you distort my Lords words, Woe be to you..Jesus never wanted us to have all that doubt & concern you pass out, that is why MANY times he said I tell ye these things -that ye may KNOW (not guess, not wonder ). .So kindly sell those outlandish & confusing doctrines of yours elsewhere..take that tongue talking jibberish with ya as well..My God is an orderly God, not a god of confusion, yes some will have the gift of tongues, but you aint satisfied unless ALL of your congregation start prattling that stuff out-this is heresy in case ya didnt know? WHY? because you feel one does NOT have the Holy Spirit UNLESS they have this gift..Opening the congregation up to satanic/demonic control..Dark spirits have no problem working through them then, speaking any jibberish they wanna hear..
