KEEPING BALI HEALTHY & SAFE At least once a month, a BAWA - TopicsExpress

KEEPING BALI HEALTHY & SAFE At least once a month, a BAWA sterilisation team heads to Kuburan Madura and other areas of Sanur to spay and neuter street dogs. Sterilising dogs helps keep the local population under control and helps ensure there is enough food and care available in the area for as many dogs a possible. They work with their wonderful supporter Yuki on this program which also involves treating the dogs for skin problems, worms and other conditions. Inevitably BAWA collects unwanted puppies along the way, and on their visit to Sanur this week they found 13 puppies, all beautiful and in need of loving homes. If you are a Bali resident you can choose one to take home free at BAWA’s ADOPT. LEARN. CHAT WITH A VET day at Kuta Beachwalk TOMORROW, Sunday 9 November from 10am to 9pm. The day is FREE and packed with fun and educational activities for the whole family. PROGRAM: bawabali/adopt-learn-chat-vet/ Meanwhile, BAWA’s sterilisation teams are out in communities 6 days a week, humanely controlling Bali’s population of street dogs and cats to make the island healthier and safer for animals and humans, too.
