KILLER Her first murder was uneventful. She had mastered enough mental and emotional strength, or should I say brutality to pull the trigger without wincing. She pulled the trigger, the young girl fell to the ground bleeding and she walked away like nothing happened. That was the beginning of many gruesome murders. The ease with which she killed kept increasing. It was so amazing that a woman so beautiful could be a serial killer. Nobody was looking for her because most people didn’t know. Both the act and the effect seemed hidden from the outside world but God saw it all and it made him sad. How could one of his beautiful creatures allow herself to be so consumed by envy and hatred? How could she go about hating everyone when she had been ordained to be light and the carrier of love? The Lord God was pained. No one saw the gun, heard the gunshot or saw her victims fall but God saw it all. (1 Jn 3:15- “anyone that hateth his brother is a murderer…”) The other saddening fact was that she was not immune to the consequences of her actions. After every murder, she got weaker but she did not realise it. The enemy blinded her to the truth. For every bullet that she released into someone’s body, she had multiple bullets in hers. She refused to forgive, she refused to accept, she refused to tolerate. She went around on the edge, like a lion hungry for blood. She thought she was living, keeping everyone away, such a lie of the devil. She was in pain and it was killing her. Hatred, envy, jealousy make your bones decay, they weaken your soul and cause you pain. Yes, I agree that sometimes it’s hard to forgive and envy most times just creeps in but you have to decide by the help of the Holy Ghost to rise above them. You have to consciously decide to walk in love daily like Jesus. So what if she was rude, and yh, he flaunts the fact that he’s richer than you or maybe he walked out on you; choose to be the bigger person. Choose to do it Jesus style, decide to love. Love is the way forward. With it comes fulfilment and joy beyond words. Be the light, be the love today, be Jesus today. May God help us all.
