KIRTAN.....IN ...FIJI these days the type of kirtans played on FIJI RADIO SARGAM & FIJI 2 it is really not nice to listen,...artist such as NITIN NILESH and AVINESH CHAND they can play professional harmonium...and if there is some 1 like them playing harmonium then people should release Kirtans at procera level....IF NOT then at least sing some good KIRTANS like VIKAS PRASAD VICKY & ME .these days kirtans are being spoiled SO ITS better to listen kirtans from india ,,,and prizes awarded at kirtan sammelan are usually biased,...judgement should only done by FIJIS maximum 2 senior artists then only v can tell there is an appropriate judgement was done....some places they bring bhajaniyas for kirtan judgement...its not right....SOME ARTISTS THEY COPY KIRTANS OF OTHER FIJI ARTISTS IN THEIR ALBUM...PLENTY PEOPLE USE SHIU SHARAN SARDARS KIRTAN...to get on top but this shows how pathetic and at which level that artist is at. those who want to chant GODS NAME go sit under the tree with jaap mala....but on radio please give your good kirtans....!!!!
