KNOWLEDGE MUSONA DUMPS THE GLAMOUR BOYS it has been confirmed that Knowledge Musona will not be returning to Kaizer Chiefs in the current transfer window The striker has been at the centre of a protracted saga about his possible return to Naturena South African Glamour Boys on loan from Hoffenheim in Germany. However, it has now emerged that the Zimbabwean has ruled out a return to Chiefs. Musona’s agent and Prosport International Chief Executive Officer, Mike Makaab, confirmed the news on his agency’s official website. He said, “It is important for all parties involved that we put an end to the speculation surrounding the possible transfer of Musona from Hoffenheim to Kaizer Chiefs. After a lengthy period of negotiation, we regret that we were unable to reach an agreement for Knowledge to re-join Chiefs. The major stumbling block is that the player was not prepared to sign an agreement for longer than the current season (one year loan agreement), as it is his desire to pursue his career in Europe.” He added, “Understandably, this short term arrangement was not acceptable to Chiefs. On behalf of Knowledge, he has asked me to convey his sincere thanks to Chiefs and their supporters for the wonderful support that he has received from them.” Chiefs Football Manager, Bobby Motaung, also confirmed that the 24-year-old wouldn’t be returning on loan, “After a long protracted negotiation with Hoffenheim for Musona to come back to Chiefs on loan for another season, we’d like to announce that the negotiations were not successful due to time constraints.
