KPK Govt. would give include following points in Local Body System; 1. Nazim should be allowed to work independently i.e. No interference or dependency on MNA / MPA. 2. Each council should has a municipal services office equipped with Fire Fighting Vehicles or other emergency equipment with Emergency Preparedness Plan and also all the municipal facilities (Water Supply, Sewerage etc) should be in control of this office. 3. Each council should have their own security and plan to be made with the consent of the influential / respected people of the UC. Considering current security problem, I would be in favor of boundary walls and a specific routes that can only be used at night time by visitors or others. 4. UC should be responsible of collecting the Taxes (where applicable) and get their resources (Budget) from these collected taxes and the remaining amount may be transferred to FBR. In this way people will be more willing to pay taxes as they would know that their taxes are utilized on them. 5. Educational reforms should be an important aspect. All the parents should be enforced to send their children to school. A separate education fund can be made for poor people. 5. All above recommendations not only make UC an independent unit but also create job opportunities as all the security staff and staff in municipal office should hire people from their own UC.
