Kabimba is Panicking, says Hichilema United Party for National Development leader Hakainde Hichilema says Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba’s statement that he needs 50 years to catch up with President Michael Sata is a sign of panic. Hichilema said Kabimba’s statement was an acknowledgment of the stress the PF was having over the growing popularity of the UPND. Kabimba told party functionaries in the UPND stronghold of Choma over the weekend that Hichilema will need 50 years to win elections. “It is desperation, they are panicking, Kabimba means the opposite. You are aware that UPND is a party of choice today. He can complain but complain indirectly because they are under threat we have something to offer to the people of Zambia,” Hichilema said. “If there is something he has to offer it is to give the people of Zambia the constitution. How do you measure failure? Look at the price of mealie meal, it is too expensive and unaffordable for the majority of our people. If he has any energy let him exert it on delivering the constitution.” He said, “The combined team of Kabimba and Sata are nowhere near you and should not even be comparing me to Sata. I do not even want to be compared to Sata.” zambiareports/2014/04/07/kabimba-panicking-says-hichilema/
