Kaci Hickox is my shero! She volunteered her time to work with Doctors Without Borders and now she has to come home to fight. Her points are: that for over a year, people have been traveling back and forth with no issues, you cant spread the virus until you show symptoms, she doesnt want to die of Ebola so of course, she will self-monitor and at the first sign of a symptom, she will get herself checked in. Plus, everyone who wants these American heroes (cause I know most people wouldnt give of themselves this way) to be quarantined, how do we compensate them? Who pays them while theyre locked up? Or dont we care about that? Volunteers who have no rights because those of us who stayed behind and did nothing count more.....
