Kaia Voitka, violin student of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, was chosen to the European Union Youth Orchestra 2014/2015! Furthermore, violist Joosep Ahun, trumpet player Gatis Gorkusha, both students of EAMT, and percussionist Karl-Johann Lattikas, who is currently studying at the Sibelius Academy, Finland, made it to the orchestras reserve list. Altogether 955 young musicians auditioned in all 28 countries of the EU for a spot in the the orchestra.
