‘Kamal habitual of taking a dig on others’ :-Qazi Afzal Ganderbal, June 15,: Contesting the claims of Dr Shiekh Mustafa Kamal that Peoples Democratic Party put Gulmarag on sale, Qazi Mohammad Afzal Saturday said that the motive of the PDP was not only to give boost to tourism sector and but also provide benefits to locals.“It has become a routine affair for Kamal to take a dig on anyone. National Conference has assigned him the job to cover the fallacies of the party and for this purpose he talks what suits to him and his party,” Afzal told CNS adding that Kamal is the product of the same party which shelved the issue of plebiscite in exchange of power.The former Forest Minister said that PDP had devised a proper strategy about Gulmarg but NC raised hue and cry as it felt that thousands of Kanals of land that leaders of this party have occupied would come under scanner. “Kamal should know that his late father sold Kashmir to India for sake of power and to this date people of Kashmir are ruing his decision,” he said.He said it was his brother Dr Farooq Abdullah who opposed the decision of former Prime Minister of India Inder Kumar Gujral who had decided to take separatist leaders on board for the resolution of Kashmir issue. “ Farooq Abdullah declared on the floor of the House that if PM will hold a dialogue with the separatist then his party will revolt,” he said
