Kana, pila pila by announcing a ministry of Communications, government is making its intentions clear from the word go that for the next five years, theyll be lying to us. This ministry, a state propaganda ministry, is no different from Zimbabwes infamous Information ministry under Jonathan Moyo a few years back. Its principal purpose is to lie to and mislead The People about what government is doing. Such as making people believe that Nkandla is just a perk every president the world over is entitled to and even the Constitution provides for it. Now that we know the real purpose of the Communications ministry, it means we, The People of South Africa and taxpayers, will for the next five years consciously be paying salaries and perks to a minister and his support staff for something we will never believe that is will be coming from them. So, whose radical economic transformation is this, really?
