Kandalama Hotel in Dambulla....Had a Great opportunity to travel with Geoffrey Bawa the architect of the hotel on Helicopter with my immediate Boss as I was going to handle the reservations and sales of the hotel at Aitken Spence We did an aerial view of the hotel while it was being constructed. This hotel is a Wonder Hotel in the Jungle. Our 1st lap of our Honeymoon day 2 and 3 was at Kandalama. We just drove from Cmb Oberoi where we stayed the night of our Wedding to Kandalama Hotel next morning. One of the Exotic hotels I have ever seen with the fine dining restaurant. Hats off to Aitken Spence to build such anice hotel with the natural habitat. A must go Hotel to experience the beauty of nature. Samunn enjoyed the stay at the hotel with the lovely staff in attendance with lot of humour and laughter.
